How much do braces cost?

The investment in orthodontic treatment is determined by what kind of braces you need and length of treatment. The basics of your treatment plan will be discussed at the first exam appointment. Different types of appointments are priced accordingly. Full payment for each appointment type is required at the time of service. We will always inform you of the cost of your next visit when we schedule your appointment.

How can I reduce the cost of my braces with community service?

GoodLife Orthodontics is a locally owned and operated orthodontic practice. Dr. Baker is committed to contributing to her community in a meaningful way, and what better way to use her skills to help patients achieve the smile they have always dreamed of WHILE contributing to their community!!!! GLO Impact is fee-for-service (pay as you go). The GLO Impact program offers you the opportunity to adjust up to 30% of your treatment fee in exchange for community service work you or an immediate family member performs as a volunteer for an approved
non-profit organization. Vouchers are signed and distributed by a representative of the non-profit organization, and are worth $10 for each hour of community service.

How do I know which non-profit organization participates in GLO Impact?

The Rogue Valley has a large variety of volunteer options. Please see our Impact Partners page for a complete list of currently participating organizations. If you are getting paid for your work in any way, it is not volunteering and will not qualify for community service vouchers.

How do I pay for appointments?

You will know in advance how much each appointment will cost. For example, if your visit is $250 and you do NOT want to participate in community service, then you will pay $250 cash. You could also pay $150 cash and 10 hours of volunteer work. Another example would be to pay $200 and 5 hours. Keep in mind that the vouchers may not exceed 50% of the cost of each qualifying visit. Volunteer hours must be done before each visit. If you have volunteered more than you need for a visit, those hours can be “banked” and used for future visits. You may also pay in advance and GLO Impact will keep track of hours and cash you have on file.

I have been volunteering for some time now. Can I count those hours toward my treatment?

That is AWESOME and we are so proud of you!!!! You can begin to count hours from the time of the initial exam, or from when we indicate the patient is ready for treatment. Previous volunteer work performed PRIOR to meeting with our team and getting the green light for
orthodontic treatment will NOT count toward treatment.

Do you accept credit cards or checks?

Credit and debit cards are accepted and you are charged 3% processing fee for each transaction.Checks are not accepted.

What if I have an emergency between appointments?

Orthodontic emergencies are defined as a painful or uncomfortable condition that cannot wait for a routine appointment. There is no charge for a phone consultation, which may help you until you can be seen at the office. There is a $35 charge for emergency visit during office hours. If you have an emergency after hours, you can contact a clinical team member at 458-658-4133. If the after hours emergency requires an office visit, there is a charge of $150. Volunteer vouchers
may not be used for emergencies.

Does GLO Impact accept insurance?

GoodLife Orthodontics will facilitate the filing of your insurance on your behalf.

What happens if I move out of town?

GLO will be happy to transfer your files in the event you relocate out of the area. The treatment costs provided by GLO Impact will not be the same costs that you will find at another office and other offices are not obligated in any way to accept the same fee schedule.

When is GLO open?

Our office is currently open 3 days/week with a rotating schedule to include one Friday/month. Please call our office for current availability (541)500-6001.

Can I volunteer at my church?

Activities at the church that serve the greater community ARE eligible (e.g. community food drive, clothing drive, helping senior citizens/disabled, etc). Activities directly related to the service/bible study are NOT eligible. Please ask if you are unsure whether or not an activity
meets the criteria.
